If you are looking for a quaint place, full of Southern charm to have an outdoor wedding in the metro-Atlanta, GA area, consider the square in downtown Marietta.

One reception facility worth noting is the Stanley House Inn. The Southern charm of your wedding will continue as your reception party moves to the antebellum home turned bed 'n breakfast. The bride and groom can ride to the Stanley House via horse and carriage.

The Stanley House Bed & Breakfast Inn

The_Stanley_House.JPG We arrived at the downtown Marietta parking deck around 9:15 AM and made our way on over to The Stanley House, c. 1897. This is a Queen Anne style mansion of great historical value and a home that I've wanted to visit for some time now. It's huge and, of course, features a turret. It was built for Woodrow Wilson's Aunt, Felie Woodrow. In the 1980's it was renovated and is now a beautiful bed & breakfast. There are many domestic and international antiques on display throughout the Inn.
