I visited a OPEN HOUSE at the Stanley House on a Saturday. Greeted by a lady name Cindy greeted me who was very nice. She spent alot of time giving me alot of event options and ideas over coffee. I took a history tour of the property. The B&B was spotless later that week I faxed a contract back and paid my deposit over the phone. My dress arrived a week before my wedding and hung in the Savannah room awaiting my arrival on my big day. The cake was Martha Stewart design with fresh flowers. We did a champayne toast. i got my wedding pics on a CD and selected the ones i liked for my photo album. We spent the night in the Savannah room and had morning coffee and danish with my family and friends. I couldnt have asked for a better day in my life! I have good memories! Thanks so much for my personalized wedding day!

They were amazing! This house is amazing and BEAUTIFUL, a wonderful background in pictures.
We got so much for our money. They have packages to choose from and will edit them to fit your needs / wants. From the beginning the staff was polite, helpful and understanding. Even responding to my questions while she was on vacation! We ended up changing our wedding date and there was not a problem with it at all. Also, I didn't have to worry about every little detail because they have done plenty of weddings. They also have a "Day Of" wedding coordinator. When I didn't have a clue on what to do for certain things they always had options and examples for me to choose from.
My only issue was that the staff dressed a little too everyday on our big day. Considering they were seen by our guest throughout our ceremony and reception I felt they should have been dressed business casual.
I would highly recommend them to EVERY bride in the Atlanta area. The price and enviornment they offer can not be beat and trust me I shopped around!! Our guest loved the Southern and intimate feel the house gave and even inquired to use the facility for events themselves!

The Stanley House, w e fell in love with the setting upon first visit . We had done a lot of searching and narrowed our list to a few choice sites. The Stanley House stuck out immediately because the website is so user friendly and very open about wedding options. Once we arrived at The Stanley House for our first visit, we felt at home. Cathy, one of the co-owners, greeted us, let us wander the premises, and openly answered all of our questions. The Stanley House is a beautiful, authentic, Victorian home...and it felt that way from day 1 through the rehearsal, the wedding and our reception. Our guests had such a wonderful time, and we received many compliments on the beautiful setting and how well it suited our wedding. As for cost and arrangements: Cathy helped coordinate everything. Her experience, and that of the team of vendors she works with, took care of all the big and little details with minimum effort on our time (important as we both travel with work.) The results were more than we anticipated, and the cost exactly as we had been told right up front...with the value received exceeding our expectations by a wide, positive margin. Delicious and attractively presented food, gorgeous and delightful cake, beautiful flowers, comfortable surroundings, live music from a very talented pianist, smoothly run event (even when I had to change who was walking me down the aisle three times because travel and health matters kept a few key people away), awesome pictures...it was a wonderful, joyful, memorable occasion for all from the wedding rehearsal through our smooth departure after the lively reception. We never had to worry about anything but getting married and enjoying our celebration! Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be...and so much more...with Cathy and The Stanley House being the focal point for making it be that way. ---Deann and Aaron, October wedding at the Stanley House
